As a composer himself, Thomas has studied with John Allemeier, Jorge Variego, and Lane Harder and has explored writing for ensembles from large orchestras to string quintets to even solo harp, with storytelling through music being his primary focus.

Thomas conducted his first concert with Symphony HEB in April of 2024, and was voted in as Music Director by the board in May of 2024. He is excited for the opportunity to work with this group and is looking forward to expanding the orchestra’s reach as it seeks to serve the Hurst, Euless, and Bedford areas. Thomas is continuing to expand and explore his career as both a conductor and a composer and is looking forward to upcoming performances with various ensembles in the near future.
